Html Interface to clustal2dna

Beta version

Purpose: to produce a multiple nucleic alignment from a multiple protein alignment.

Given a Clustal, Fasta, MSF or Pileup multiple protein alignment and corresponding CDS[1] nucleic sequences in FASTA format, clustal2dna gives the multiple alignment of the CDS

Choose the file containing your protein alignment:

OR

Paste your protein alignment:

NOTE: The multiple alignment MUST be provided in Fasta, Clustal, MSF or PileUp format.

Choose the file containing your fasta nucleic sequences:

OR

Paste your fasta nucleic sequences:

The sequences MUST be provided in FASTA format.

Choose appropriate mode for choosing nucleic sequences from proteins:

by_name: the nucleic sequence are supposed to have the same name as the protein sequences (protein names can be shorter - while no confusion is possible - as Clustal often shortens names).
by_order: the nucleic sequence are supposed to be in the same order as the protein sequences in the Clustal alignment (names are not taken into account with this option).

Choose appropriate output style :

fasta: the nucleic sequence alignment will be output as a fasta file.
clustal: the nucleic sequence alignment will be output formatted as a Clustal file.

Choose appropriate output format :

html: window output will be html.
text: window output will be text (then you can save it by choosing the "Save as" menu of your browser).
